Mrs. Liza Ow is a dedicated educator whose passion for teaching has been unwavering for the past 36 years. With a strong belief that every individual possesses the potential to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to society, Mrs. Ow has worked extensively with students aged 7 to 18, ensuring that their diverse abilities are nurtured and recognized.
Since 2005, Mrs. Ow has collaborated closely with teachers, professors, and curriculum specialists from the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the National Institute of Education (NIE) to review and develop holistic, person-centred curricula across various subjects and learning domains. Leveraging on future-oriented pedagogical practices and Information & Communication Technology as the enablers, Mrs. Ow is dedicated to enriching and transforming the educational experience for adult learners, empowering them to co-create knowledge, engage in dialogic inquiry, and develop metacognitive capabilities.
Mrs. Ow’s love for teaching, coupled with extensive experience in courseware development, has led to the cultivation of a unique set of skills in curriculum planning, pedagogy, and assessment design.
