Principals Academy organized the inaugural AI in Education Conference on 6 and 7 August 2024 at Orchard Hotel Singapore. With the theme “Harmonising Education Innovation: Enhancing Education with AI and Positive Education,” the conference attracted over 250 participants from schools and MOE HQ. The two-day event featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and expert workshops, all aimed at exploring the transformative potential of AI in education. Attendees were equipped with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the AI landscape, integrating AI tools into their teaching practices to enhance educational outcomes.
In addition to AI-focused sessions, the conference emphasized the integration of positive psychology into curriculum design and the practice of appreciative inquiry. These sessions allowed educators to learn from practitioners about creating environments that humanize the learning experience and foster holistic child development. The conference's outcomes aim to empower schools to develop empathetic, creative, and collaborative students, preparing them to face future challenges with confidence and resolve.
