Peer Assessment. What does the research tell us? Workload friendly techniques for the classroom

Students don't always value and respect feedback from their peers, the teacher is the expert in the room they would prefer feedback from the expert! This session explores how teachers can train and guide students to give one another kind, specific and helpful feedback and critique, as well as be able to receive feedback from their peers. There are lots of ways this can be achieved, with examples involving pair, group and whole class peer feedback.
