Everyone wants to be part of a winning team, but what is that formula for success? With multi-generational, cross-functional and multi-cultural teams, putting a group of highly talented people together does not automatically lead to an A-Team. In fact, such a combination often leads to a under-performing team, where every talented individual feels a need to do it their own way.
Join this workshop to learn leadership skills required to make a team effective, including your core leadership team.
What you will learn:
1. What makes a team effective
2. Practical ways to foster effective teams:
a) Core Theory of Success & focusing beyond performance
b) Interpersonal effectiveness
c) Quality conversation for quality collective thinking / decision making
d) Building trust
e) Difficult Conversation
3. Developing your people
4. Empowering for results, engagement, and people development
HBDI Workshop Included
Some of us like facts while others prefer ideas. Some of us trust systems while others place their faith in feelings. This is ‘Cognitive Diversity’. It is the key to decoding the way your team thinks, improving how they work together, and amplifying what they accomplish.
The Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) will change how you view your own thinking preferences and show how you can relate more effectively with others. At the team level, the HBDI promotes thinking agility, teamwork and innovation.
At this workshop you will learn practical and easy-to-apply tools and methods to improve your thinking agility and your team’s competitive advantage!
Target Audience: Senior/Lead Teachers, Key Personnel, School Leaders and MOE HQ Officers
Note: This two-day workshop comprise the "Fostering Effective Teams’ Workshop and HBDI Workshop.
